Julie began helping people find homes in 1996 with her career in property management. Working for The Irvine Company, one of the largest real estate developers and property management companies in Southern California. By honing her skills in Leasing and Management Julie was promoted to a Director of Field Training. In this position, Julie was responsible for the one on one training of all leasing and management staff in her portfolio. Julie loved to show those on her team that finding someone a home wasn't as hard and challenging as they may think, it was learning how to listen to what someone really needed and match that to what they loved. Julie knew you had to take time to show people what they sometimes couldn't see. " If your client can't visualize it, show them! Move the chair, take measurements" She would say.Ending her career at The Irvine Company in 2002 was a decision many didn't think she would make. For Julie, it was an easy decision. Being at home to raise her child was a decision she made before getting married. With her new daughter at home she was ready for a new chapter but she never stopped being involved with real estate in some way. Julie assisted her husband with the processing of his loans as he was in the mortgage business. She also has a very artistic and creative side and thrived on helping friends decorate their new homes during the housing boom between 2000 and 2005. It was as if she were back staging apartment models again.. In 2006 Julie decided to put her skills to work and start the process to obtain a Real Estate License and in 2007 she had accomplished just that..Fast Forward to March 2020. Julie and her family relocated from Orange County, CA to Knoxville, TN. In May 2021 she helped her husband open a mortgage business. At the urging of her realtor, friend and now mentor Colleen Reimer, Julie has joined the Exit Real Estate Professionals Network. Julie's passion and enthusiasm for Knoxville, Tennessee is contagious. When asked what she loved most about her new hometown and state her response was "It's too numerous to pick just one! Tennessee is gorgeous, the people are genuine and I have never seen so many magnificent homes in one state, let alone one city!... Tennessee has been a hidden secret and unfortunately, the secret is out. I love it here and plan on helping to keep Tennessee just the way I found it"
